I love the fabric and they are lined for insulation and blackout HOWEVER I tried hanging them both gathered and back-tabbed and simply find the lining too bulky to make them hang in an attractive manner…especially since I open and close them daily in winter. Ended up ditching them. Sigh.

    I needed blackout curtains and was worried they would look heavy and ‘blah’. That is absolutely not the case with these. The fabric feels and looks very luxurious and hangs beautifully without looking stiff.
    Blacks out my sunny room nicely. The wrinkles all came out within a few days of hanging. Thrilled with these!

    look nice, effective room darkening, cheap plastic blackout backing

    I really love the fabric and design of these curtains, the darken the room effectively. However, the blackout backing fabric is lined with plastic which puts off an unpleasant chemical smell. I had to hang these outside for several days before I could use them due to the odor. I am concerned that in summer time the plastic will get hot from the sun and outgas even further. They also arrive wrinkled of course, and because of the plastic lining they are "handwash only". I am guessing it might flake off or melt in the dryer.

The colors are visibly different, not just a dye-lot difference. One is navy, and the other is taupe. The liners on the back are 2 completely different fabrics. I've returned many items on Amazon, I know how to do it, but this item doesn't give me the option to return or exchange it. Frustrating, because I love the Navy color, but I have no way to ensure I get a 2nd panel of that color if I order again.

    These are very nice quality drapes. Woven fabric has a nice hand and they’re properly lined. A nice neutral beige. To match to a paint colour, look no further than BM Stonehouse, or the slightly cooler BM Shaker Beige.
