If you turn the knob to 250° you will get a more medium type of Temperature. And making the knob go all the way to 350° will allow it to reach higher temperatures and cook your food at a faster pace. After using the hot pot two times already, I can already tell you that not only was it able to cook fries and be able to melt cheese. And boil water. It is straightforward to clean because it is a nonstick hot pot That means that nothing will stick to it, no residue will stick to it, and it is effortless to clean.
